burlington football has a downfall (6-3)

After our loss against reading we faced up against a big and strong Wakefield team. We came out flat in the first half and went down 22-0. We knew we had to figure out what was going wrong. We came out the second half on fire. The only thing was that it wasn’t enough we lost by a touchdown 37-30. After that loss we were 5-2 in the middle sex league. The next week we faced Winchester in Winchester. We thought we were going to walk all over them and we got man handled. We lost 28-7. We didn’t come to play at all. No one was ready and Winchester took advantage of it and put us to shame. We have one game left and we want that 7th win. We are facing Lexington and its not going to be easy.

burlington football (5-1)

after we faced of against reading we had a game against melrose we won 20 to 14. i didnt make it to that game because u had to go to my sisters wedding. the next week our oppnent was watertown. we had another victory with a score of 34 to 14. it was one of our best game. we were still undefeted in the middlesex league facing the other undefeated team, reading. they havent lost a game in 22 games. we knew it was going to be the hardest game of the season. we were beat badly. we played a bad dame on offense and defense. we lost 36 to 7. it was a rough loss, but we have to bounce back and get a win against wakefield.

last friday we faced up against woburn at their home field. we knew they were gonna play a good game but we came out on top 22 to 12. they got 2 touchdowns one on a pass and one on a punt return. we scored 3 times and missed one pat and got a safety. our next game is against melrose there a good team its going to be a tough game.

why is self directed learning a problem?

today our teacher mr.larkin asked us the question Why do students struggle with self-directed learning? i think students have a hard time with this because they dont have enough motivation to do it themselves. when a teacher gives out a project some kids can do it right away with no problem, but others have a lot of struggle just to get the paper for it. i am one of those kids. if i have to do something by myself. i will do it the night before its due and finish at 12:00. if i always have someone on my case telling me to do it i will get it done. i think teachers will have an easier life getting people to do their work if they give them time in class to do it and they go around asking each kid how their doing and if they need any help.

burlington football team is now 2-0 in the middlesex league!!!!

last saturday the burlington red devils and the belmont maradures faced off at woburn. the redvils came out on top with a 34-0. we played a great game but we still need to fix up some minor mistakes. this week on friday we are playing our rivals. woburn. they beat stoneham 28-0 when we beat them 42-0. it should be a close game and im pumped already. its gonna be a streetfight!
